Canberra Rotaract 2024 Trivia Night for Pegasus Riding for the Disabled

Canberra Rotaract Club is excited to bring you its 10th Annual Trivia Night!

This year we are raising funds for Pegusus Riding for the Disabled.

Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT is an iconic not-for-profit community organisation that has been operating in the Canberra Region for more than 40 years. It provides equestrian activities for people with disabilities. Pegasus brings horses and people together to help fulfil their potential. Why horse riding? Apart from being fun, horse riding is a non-evasive social and therapeutic activity, providing therapies that help to improve coordination, balance, muscle development and fitness for people with disabilities (such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Multiple Sclerosis and acquired brain injury). Participation boosts personal confidence, self-esteem, communication skills, leadership and trust. Parents, carers or caregivers also benefit from obtaining an hour or two a week of respite and are able to watch their children and/ or dependents develop and gain confidence in their abilities.

• And most importantly fun for you, your family, and friends

As this will be a spooky Halloween night, BONUS POINTS will be awarded to the best dressed person/group, and those points will be added to the table's total. So get creative!!
