The workshop will be delivered by Dr. Tom Davison, who has had an extensive career in livestock production with a focus on methane research and emissions reduction. Tom will present an independent, research and fact-based workshop featuring a mix of learning and practical activities; you will also be helped to enter your own farm information to create your own carbon account.

What the workshop includes:

The workshop will feature a mix of learning and practical activities and you will also learn how to interpret a carbon account and consider options to address emissions for the future. The carbon account will set a benchmark to show progress over time and can be used in on-farm decision making.

We will be using the University of Melbourne's Farm Greenhouse Accounting Framework Tools for sheep and beef producers. This is a free tool you can continue to use after the workshop.
