About

The Casa Mia centre offers a beautiful outdoor play space, with a shaded playground, a refurbished cubbyhouse and 2 sheds full of toys. There are 2 x 3 seater lounges for adults under the eaves.

Indoors there are endless toys for ages 0-5 along with low tables and toddler sized chairs. There are 4 low level high chairs, 7 adult sized chairs, some stools and 2 trestle tables.

Available with your hire is plastic plates, cups and cutlery suited to up to 100 people.

Our kitchen is quite basic but has a fully functional electric stove and oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and lots of bench space.

Our bathroom has an adult toilet, children’s toilets and a change table as well as lots of spaces for bags.

By purchasing a ticket you agree to the below Conditions of Hire

The hire of the Casa Mia Montessori Playgroup, Room 2 which is located at 2 Hudson Street in Bayswater, Perth Western Australia, referred to as the “Venue”, is intended for the purpose of providing a venue to hold children’s birthday parties and family events only. It is not intended to hire out the Venue for any other purpose.

Eligibility for Use of the Venue
Non-members are eligible to hire the Venue under this contract.

Entitlement to Use of the Venue
The Committee has approved a ‘one function per day’ policy, which will give the person who has booked the Venue the following entitlements:
freedom to choose whether the Venue is to be used in the morning, noon or afternoon, but not the evening;
time to decorate;
time to clean up (please bring your own tea towels); and less pressure to leave by a particular time (however, the key must be returned to the lock box no later than 7.00 pm on the day of use of the Venue).

Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your booking, please advise casamia.leasing@gmail.com as soon as possible. We reserve the right to deduct 10% of the booking fee as a cancellation fee. This only applies to the booking fee and not the bond.

Access
Details of how to access the key will be emailed to you approximately 7 days prior to your booked event.

Decorating
Please ensure that no decorations are hung from fans or any other dangerous positions. For maintenance purposes, no sticky-tape is to be used on the brickwork. Please use the hooks installed or if you have an elaborate set up requiring 3M (or similar) hooks, approval via email is required 7 days prior to the booking.

Damages
Please ensure that no decorations are hung from fans or any other dangerous positions.

Provision and/or Consumption of Alcohol at the Venue
Alcohol consumption is only permitted in quantities as is reasonable in the context of a children’s party. Alcohol must not be provided to minors or sold in any way. Any provision or consumption of alcohol by guests must be done so in accordance with the liquor licensing laws and is entirely at the party hirer’s own risk.

Cleaning
The Venue must be thoroughly cleaned and tidied - floors vacuumed and mopped and toys returned to their original places with all pieces accounted for. Please check that no food scraps have been left amongst the toys and equipment including in the outdoor play area (a favourite is, cake out in the cubby house). All party rubbish is to be removed from the Venue and taken with you. All decorations need to be taken down, as things like balloons are a safety hazard to babies who may be present at the next session.

Before Leaving the Venue
Before leaving the Venue the following must be checked:

Ensure the stove is turned OFF
The Reverse Cycle Air-conditioning OR any heating is OFF;
all lights to ensure they are turned OFF;
the shed doors are securely closed with and padlocked;

Smoking
Casa Mia Montessori Playgroup is a non-smoking venue due to the danger of passive smoking to small children and the toxicity of cigarette butts.

Nuts
Casa Mia Montessori Playgroup is a nut free venue. Please ensure that all food (whether for adults or children) is free of any nut product.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

The person who has booked the Venue must accept Yes/No to the Conditions of Hire

Use of the Venue is at the party hirer’s own risk. Casa Mia Montessori Playgroup Inc will not be liable for any INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE that may occur as a result of your use of the Venue.
